Hi,
I want to create a friendly URL to Finesse for our users rather than getting them to browse to the server name. I have created the A record in DNS finesse.<domain>.com:8445/desktop but when users browse to this they are redirected to the <fqdn>:8445/desktop of the server instead.
I have added the A record name as a Subject Alternate Name on the UCCX Server using "set web-security" CLI command and regenerated certificates reflecting this from our PKI but the redirect still occurs.
Does any one know if it's possible to prevent Finesse from automatically redirecting users? The issue doesn't occur if I use the A record to browse to the main /appadmin URL.
Using UCCX 12.0.1.10000-2
Thanks
Ryan

Hello,
What you are seeking is not possible for one reason which is the HA.
the HA works based on the PUB and SUB FQDN, this is why it redirect you to the FQDN, otherwise in any case of a failover it will route to the correct FQDN which is inserted in the host file (as this is VOS server not windows)
