Need assistance creating a report to show the median call duration by week and by month

Excuse my very newbish question...

I have been tasked with creating custom reports for our call center. One stat that I have been asked to get is the Median value for talk time by day, week and month. I have exported a current stock report to see if changing a query in that could work however it seems to be using queries that are already in the system. No idea on where to start with this.

Any help or starting point would be helpful.
