Hi ,
Retry and try if not succeed . close this page and logout cceadmin.
Make sure you have the exact count of required VMs, and remove any empty or extra VMs.
Also Select the hardware layout type as M3/M4 Tested Reference Configuration or M5 Tested Reference Configuration / Specification Based Configuration and click Next.
If M5 please install CCE 11.6(1) ES27 patch to solve this issue .

Did you find a solution for this issue ?

I know this is an old topic HTH.
I had the very same issue with 12.5 PCCE 2K deployment in M5 hardware. Try opening the CCEadmin page on a different browser from a different machine. Apparently the setup is completed but it is not refreshing the deployment page. You can also look at the CCBU logs in the Tomcat folder and you will see system inventory orchestration cycles completed X times ( for me it was over 65 times) and i was patiently checking the screen for several hours.
before i got this screen from a different browser.

Hi Senthil,
I hope You installed CVP, ICM, CUIC, FInesse 12.0.1 and cucm 11.5 or 12.5 software and then run this deployment type.
Because you mentioned PCCE 12.5

Ram,
As I mentioned earlier, this is for a 12.5 PCCE2K deployment. So all components are 12.5 for CUCM, CVP, VVB, ECE, Finesse and CUIC. I did not create a separate thread because when you do a google search this was the only hit with for the search query "PCCE error on step System Inventory Creation".
It's been 2 years since the original thread was created but hopefully it helps someone with version 12.5 PCCE if they run into this issue again.
Thanks
Senthil
