Hello all,
I have a silly strange problem with the DNPhost file which keeps the local static routing for the SIP dialer. Seems that the Dialer ignores any updates made to the DNPhost and keeps working using the old info. For example:
0!, X.X.X.X, Primary
0!, Y.Y.Y.Y, Secondary
Deleted the first row but the calls are still going to the Primary gateway. Cycled the services from Unified CCE Tools or restarted the server.
Nothing happened. Under no circumstance the dialer uses the Secondary gateway.
The DNPhost file is located at C:\icm\cce\dialer.
Any ideea would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Marius

Hi Chintan,
Yes. You are right. On the first Dialer was declared like SIP Server X.X.X.X. On the second Dialer was declared like SIP server Y.Y.Y.Y. Seems that DNPhost file is ignored.

The Gateway/sip server is always chosen based on what you configured in sip dialer when installed.
the DNP is totally different thing, Dialer will only consult when it has to prepare refer for the sip invite coming in for the number.
e.i. on your gateway you have dial-peer configured to send call to Sip dialer for agent extensions,
in this case dialer will look at the DNP and prepare the sip refer and reply for all the invites coming to it.
