Hello,
I am planning an upgrade to UCCE 8.0 from 7.2(6) and I just noticed in the UCCE Software Compatibility Guide under IP Phone Support that 7960/40 model is not supported with Unified CM based Silent Monitoring or RSM (See attachment p.8). And all my ip phones are 7960 and 7940. Are they any work around or do I have to order new phones.

As long as you aren't using UCM based silent monitoring or RSM, then it will work. 8.0 still has the option of using CTIOS-based monitoring which is the way it works in your current system.
