Doing due diligence for a customer request. Customer is on UCCX 12.5 SU2 and CUCM 12.5 SU7a. The script is utilizing Call Consult Transfer to send a call to a non-agent phone or hunt pilot. As we all already know, the consult transfer presents the call to the destination with the ANI of the CTI port until the call is answered and UCCX releases the call. This is a function of how CUCM does transfer (supervised vs. consult transfer). Enabling CLID on UCCX presents the screen pop with the Caller ID only to agent-phones, not standard CUCM registered phones.
I did try adding the devices to the UCCX rm-cm Application user in CUCM as a "just-for-yucks" stab in the dark. Wondering how UCCX gets the screen pop to agent-phones.
Is there any other thoughts/cucm-config/software to get the CLID over to the end user phone in the ringing state? Call Consult Transfer MUST be utilized because Call Variables are being written within the branches for certain reporting purposes.
Again, doing due diligence--I don't see any way of making this work in its current state!
