Hi Cisco people,
We are currently using UCCX for our call center with Jabber softphones on windows as the agents phone.
We are looking to extend our agent resources via a 3rd company. This 3rd company users linux as an operating system for their PC.
Is there any way, either via a Cisco beta/test product or a 3rd party product, that we can control (cti) a softphone device on Linux platform so it can be integrated into the UCCX solution?
Is this something KDE or GNOME supports?

What you might be interested in, is Extend and Connect, which allows the Agent to use any phone they want.
