I have a customer with these configuration:
One CCX Pub and one CCX Sub: Version 11.6(1) Build 11.6.2.10000.38
A third CCX server they call "CUICPub" version: Version 11.6(1) Build 11.6.1.10000.44
Although they can see live data and historical data from agents using CCX PUB CUIC page, they are claiming they are missing some "wallboard reports" they used to get from "CUICPub" CUIC page. They claim issue started 2 months ago ( no reporting any change or outage ).
On these "wallboard reports" the only thing they get is this (ALL THE TIME):
Queue - Offered - Waiting - Handled - Wait Time
Q1 0 0 0 00:00:00
Q2 1 0 1 00:00:00 <-- Never change
I never have seen a CCX cluster using a 3rd server for running specific CUIC reports.
The only weird thing i see is that "Cisco Serviceability Reporter" service is ACTIVATED on CCX Pub, but on another hand this service is DEACTIVATED on affected 3rd CCX server "CUICPub". (Note: on CCX SUB this service is also deactivated)
Could you please provide me any link explaining this kind of integrations between a CCX cluster and a 3rd CCX server for running special "wallboard reports"?
Do I need to activate "Cisco Serviceability Reporter" service on 3rd CCX server "CUICPub", to activate these "wallboard reports"?
As you know this version is OUT OF SUPPORT, so any help will be welcomed.
Enrique

Hi,
If I am correct, CCX releases earlier than 12.5 do not support report customization on the CCX servers. [From release 12.5(1) includes CUIC Premium License in CCX, which enables the Report Definition feature
in CUIC for Unified CCX]. Therefore, the customer must rely on a standalone CUIC server. Please find the screenshot below for your reference.
The standalone CUIC compared to the co-resident CUIC on UCCX doesn't provide the feature of live data.

Thomas, thanks for answer.
Customer is claiming that this 3rd CUIC server provided live data reports.
Regarding my initial question "Do I need to activate "Cisco Serviceability Reporter" service on 3rd CCX server "CUICPub" ? <-- do you think this could help to restore the affected reports?. Is it problematic to have this service running on a NO-PUBLISHER CCX?
I appreciate your comments
I am still looking into this.

Hello Shalid. If this 11.6 version requires a 3rd CCX external CUIC server for report definition, do I need to have this "Cisco Serviceability Reporter" service running on this server?
This is service is not activated on external CUIC server, I have not started yet until I confirm this is required.
I appreciate your comments.
Best regards

No, you don't need to activate the Cisco serviceability Reporter service on the CUIC standalone server.
I am sure that you have verified all your services are in service
and the you have the data source configured correctly and both CCXs are showing green.
you can try running the report or your wallboard by switching the data sources between your primary and secondary CCX.

Shalid

Hello Shalid.
Thanks for answering my question about Cisco serviceability Reporter service.
Regarding "Live Data Streaming Data Sorce" I have confirmed that:
a) from CCX PUB it shows "CONNECTED NODE" status using CCX PUB:12015 as datasource host.
b) from 3rd CCX external CUIC server it shows "CONNECTED NODE" status using ${HOSTNAME} as datasource host.
So that make me think that I may need to change the datasource host setting on 3rd CCX external CUIC server or I may need to start any required service on 3rd CCX external CUIC server (as I understand nobody changed settings before and this "Wallboard report" stopped to work).
Best regards
Enrique
