The cisco collector does quite the same as other cisco tools also do. EG with EPNM you collect the same data from your network as with the CSPC where the one is used for management and the other for cisco services. CSPC is quite a maintiance intensive job to keep running and updated where it gives you little insight on the box itself with a quite outdated UI. EPNM but also Catalyst center and Nexus Dashboard all collect the same data over snmp or other means but lack the feature to upload it to cisco. So same data but has to be managed by different systems. Cant this all be intergrated into one system?
