3rd Party Apps for Law Enforcement

Does anyone have any experience with what 3rd party apps would be of benefit to a small County Sheriffs office and local Town Police Dept that are using  the County's Cisco Communications manager phone system?

I'd assume that call recording would be useful and maybe even required.  Informacast's desktop paging might be useful as well.

I'm betting on call recording apps as well...  

We use Voice Print at two sites.   One site is set up to record a SIP trunk which makes it simple record off site devices.   Our other site utilizes an IPX card where we use SPAN to push the traffic of select phones to the IPX card.   We could use RSPAN to record off prem phones, but the network group didn't like that idea...   There are also options for integrating analog channels to record radio traffic.

I've also heard of Nice Call Recording, but we didn't investigate them much.
