Hi,
Currently we are planning to buy voice router 4331-V/K9 with 4Port T1/E1 with 256 PVDM. But EOL has been announced.
So, can we buy C8200L-1N-4T with 4Port T1/E1 with 256 PVDM. Can this 8200L take load similar to 4331 router ??
Maximum PSTN Calls would be 90. Can 8200L handle the load of 90 PSTN calls at any point of time ??
Please suggest if we have to consider any other aspects before deciding to buy 8200L Router or should we consider higher model 8200 or 8300 router.
Regards

Hi,
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/unified-communications/unified-border-element/data-sheet-c78-729692.html?cachemode=refresh
Table 2 states the max. SIP trunk sessions, a model can handle. And yes, SIP is not the same as ISDN, but 90 ISDN channels is waaaay lower then the routers can handle.
As long as you have the correct interface cards for ISDN and enough PVDM.

I think there is a mistake.
If that would be true, then the routers would be shipped with a not supported IOS version.
So no, I don't think you have a problem.

It has 4GB RAM, upgradable to 8, 16 or 32 GB and 8GB flash as per this link https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/catalyst-8200-series-edge-platforms/nb-06-cat8200-series-edge-plat-ds-cte-en.html.
