Trying to register with CME - 7811 IP phone. keeps showing registration in progress. sh voice register all shows that the device has attempted few times to register. status message shows reg send failure register. not sure on what to do . first timer. any help is highly appreciated. sh run file attached.

Add bind statements to voice service voip / sip and I’m not sure if you need these.

Can you do a factory reset for the phones and try.
Make sure you have the dn associated. After making changes make sure you issue create profile under voice register global.

You did not attach any file from what I can tell. If you want us to check your configuration please provide it in an attached text file. First thing to check, does your version of IOS have support for the 7811 phone model?

Remove the below, if you use authenticate register you need to configure username and password under voice register pool.

removed the authenticate commands . load command , removed the extension from the file name, still no luck. Phone keeps showing reg in progress. show voice register shows the number of attempts to register. getting reg send failure. have reset the phone and rebooted. any other shots worth trying. thanks again.

DN is linked to the pool created. Did factory reset multiple times . doesnt want to work still.

Is this the only model of phone that you have this problem with, are other models of phones operating as they should?

create profile command runs , but keeps throwing error about not able to find cisco jabber-config.xml file.going through the docs to ensure nothing is missed. if anything else to look at like debug logs which could point in the right direction, would be helpful.

finally managed to get it working. did the binding to interface, added username and password with the authenticate register command. and issued create profile . worked like a charm. not sure what caused it to not work earlier. incoming calls are working properly. need to understand the outbound calling feature as the next step. thanks again
