I have a Cisco IP 7942 on SIP firmware 8.5.3SR1S.
It has been successfully registered on a external VOIP server.
Not our server, of a service provider.
They say they have tested the phone and it just doesn't work on their system.
Incoming calls work, sound and everything.
But on outbound calls it doesn't.
If I call my mobile phone, my mobile rings.
In wireshark I can see the SIP package INVITE, RINGING all normal.
But then out of nowhere the phone decides to send a SIP CANCEL.
Resulting in the call being terminated before you even have the time to answer.
I don't get why this is happing.

It does help explain what the CANCEL package is, thank you for that.
It however doesn't explain why it is happening
Cause I'm not hanging up.

Wonxie,
I doubt it is exactly the same problem. I would suggest creating a new post with a description of your problem and what troubleshooting you have already done. You are more likely to get a response to your problem that way, rather than tagging a comment on an old post.
