Hi All,
So my Cisco IP Phone 7961 has been stuck in a boot loop where I can only see the upgrade screen and the loading screen. I just brought this phone used and I factory reset it and it has Been stuck in this boot loop. Anyone have a solution?

Hi Isaac,
Few details are required here.
1.What is the call manager version you are having?
2. what is the device default for firmware of 7961 phones in your CUCM?
3. is the phone reachable to TFTP server? (are you using a different TFTP server)?
4. Please get a screenshot of the issue?

A factory reset of a 7900 series phone also wipes it’s firmware, leaving only the boot loader. The phone needs new firmware from the TFTP server. This should happen automatically with CUCM (or CME, if you have other 7961 devices already; not all models are loaded by default). If you’re using something else you’ll need to follow the instructions provided by that platform.
