Hi i have cisco 7970 ip phones connected to network.PC is conncted though IP phone.sometimes ip phones takes ip from data vlan and blocks the data vlan .i am providing the switch port configuration here.data vlan is configured with Vmps.IP address releasing for both vlans are from a DHCP server. This is only with 7970 model .other models are workign fine.pls help.

Have you got the PC Port enabled on the phone within CUCM administration?

Yes..the PC also working..but sometimes when the phone gets restarts this vlan gets blocked.

Is this a problem? From what I can see, the VMPS is telling the switch to block data vlan traffic to the phone's MAC address, which is what you presumably want. The phone is supposed to be on the voice vlan, not the data vlan. So what part of this is not working the way you expect? Or it it just that this port is displayed as blocked and other ports are not shown to be explicitly blocked?
