7970 sip firmware unziping error

I had downloaded lates sip firmware for 7970 and when I try to unzip file I get error Invalid compresses data to extract. Header not found also is being diplayed. Where I can find sip firmware that can be unziped and placed in tftp server.

Usually there is a ZIP file, an exe, and a cop file. Which did you download?

Hi,

Look like the zip file is damaged. I can't tell you where you can the find the firmware because it should be buy from Cisco but you can use google to find it .

Great the firmware was downloaded from cisco. I had downloaded firmware for 7911 7906 without issue.So does this mean cisco gives us faulty firmware ?

Hi,

Try downloading the file again maybe was corrupt during the process. You can use the checksum to verify the file health.
