8821 WLAN Phone - Third Party PBX

Hi,

ist it possible to connect the Cisco WLAN Phone 8821 to a third-party pbx (sip-provider)  - CUCM is not involved ?

I know some 88xx are delivered with third-party call control firmware.

Last month no plans were shared so I am not sure if it’s high on the roadmap on any near time updates on this. I wouldn’t hope for anything anytime soon.

Yes, if anything is added to the 8821 then Spark is first I believe.

To my knowledge, there is no 8821 3PCC model yet
