8845 Wallpaper

Hey,

Guys do you know much about the wall paper for 8845. Will it support gif images? What size will it be as 8845 doesnt have a documentation yet that i can see.

Any help will be appreciated

The only supported format is png. The dimensions for the PNG and List.xml images must be within 800x480x24. Refer to below document that is applicable for all 88XX phone models

What a bad answer.  The first link is right, the second one however goes to all the old phone models and does not cover the 88XX phone models.

But the second link is ALMOST hardware agnostic. Yes, it mentions models at the end but the rest of the document explains how imaging works from the server side.
