88xx firmware 14.0 load file can't be installed- Invalid file format

Hi all,

Trying to install phone firmware version 14.0, released last week. Release notes say it can be used on CUCM 10.5 or higher. We're running 12.0.1.
The new firmware has a new file extension of "cop.sha512" instead of "cop.sgn", and when I try to install the file, CUCM says the file format is invalid and won't let me select it.

I can't find anything in the release notes that talks about steps that need to be performed in order to make CUCM compatible with this new file format, unless I'm just not seeing it. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Use the below COP first.

This COP file can be used to add support for files signed with sha512 to versions that don't support it natively. See the readme for specifics.
ciscocm.enable-sha512sum-2021-signing-key-v1.0.cop.sgn
