8945 localization

Hello

I was wondering if the newest 8945 IP Phone was supporting french localization with CUCM 8.5.1 running as a VM on an UCS C200M2 ?

I"ve installed the french locale file (cm-locale-fr_FR-8.5.1.1000-1.cop.sgn) and the other type of IP Phones (7941,etc ..) are now in french, but not the 8945.

Anybody has an idea ?

The README doesn't mention that model will be localized.

That is bad news for the customers.

Sometime I wonder if Cisco will ever learn what "global market" really means.

I think the Cisco Product Manager for the 89xx phone should comment on that.

Hello I am having the same problem, with CUCM 7.1.5 SU5...  all other phones change language except the 8945...

Any news on this?

The problem was solved with that cop file:

po-locale-fr_FR-9.1.2.1000-1.cop.sgn

When I first installed last year, the CUCM with 8.5.1, this release didn't support the localization, so i needed to add the cop file mentionned before.
