Hi All,
Having an issue with abbreviated dialing where I have a user getting a "number not configured" message. It works fine on my phone and other phones in the office that I've checked or have configured. He entered his numbers through the speed dial configuration on the CUCM user options. Has anyone come across this issue? I've read some older posts but none of them indicated a fix, our environment is using cucm 8.6. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the numbers are entered on the correct phone not EM, etc. You can check from admin pages to see if the speed dials appear on the phone.

Hi Chris,
Yes the numbers are appearing on the phone, I checked and they're appearing on the correct phone. The only difference between his phone and the other phones that are not having this issue is that his phone is a 7940 and the others are a 7960.
