Hopefully someone out there knows the quick answer to this
I have a user with a Cisco 7965 phone and a 7914 port expansion module
The user reports that each time they place an outgoing call ( internal or external ) it immediately goes 'on hold' immediately after the called party answers
The user then just presses 'Resume' and all is OK
The version of CM is 7.1.5.33045-3
The users phone has FW level :- SCCP45.9-3-1SR2-1S
Is this simply a firmware bug
As this FW level is set across all 7965s in enterprise I would not have thought so ?

Does the ip phone behave correctly if you remove the expansion module and its configuration?

Your doubt may be correct
Also I think it is fw issue
