Hi all, This is for CCIE-Collaboration written exam preparation. We need to troubleshoot SIP messages interpretation among UC components like b/w Cisco CUCM to Cisco IM/presence OR Cisco CUCM-Unity etc. Can anybody advise any great book or learning resources to excel in any SIP message interpretation? I have gone through SIP call flows and troubleshooting located here as well as SIP Configuration guide documents in Cisco web site but not getting complete clarity/confidence on SIP messages yet. Thanks in advance... Regards... Ashok.

Use the new tool on cisco.com Collaboration Solution Analyzer. After pulling CCM traces you can drag those files to the tool and it give a good ladder diagram to help you with the SIP message flow.

Hi Nipun,
Thanks for pointers.
As per sample questions for this exam, we need to really look into SIP message traces and need to answer the question. I am comfortable with SIP in general but not sure how Cisco CUCM and Cisco IM&P interact together OR how Cisco CUCM and Cisco Unity in specific SIP messages.
For eg, the question may ask what a given SIP message does towards Unity.
