Hi Justin,
we are using UCXN 9.x
Is there any way we can configure multiple personal greetings like busy, No Answer ?
regds,
aman

Aman,
Yes. You have the option to configure the following personal greetings in UC 9.x:
Alternate
Busy
Internal
Closed
Standard
Holiday
These can be configured from the Unity connection administration page under the specific users profile by selecting Greetings or through the user interface accessible via the address http://
Hope this helps.

Alonzo,
Looks like you are most likely hitting the following defect:
you will need to open a tac case so the workaround can be performed by a TAC engineer.
Hope this helps.
12-18-2013 11:31 AM
Did you where able to see the files?? if not i extracted them and i can send them to you on ZIP,
The thing is i cant open a case becouse i dont have a support contract the partner of cisco how sell them gave us that provilage do you know how can i work that around??
thanks a lot
12-18-2013 11:44 AM
I was able to find the defect from the install log portion you posted.
As for the fix the only other way without tac support would be to upgrade to the UC version that does not encounter this defect. Then the subscriber should install without failure.

Alonzo,
It had not fully loaded for me, thanks for the confirmation. After checking the file all i see is unreadable characters, did you make sure to create a new file:
"When you're ready to actually dump the log files, attach a new, empty file to the serial port by editing settings of the VM while the machine is running. You do not have to power down the VM to change the file attached to the serial port. "

Hi Justin-
Would you care to weigh in on SCCP vs. SIP and which is the recommended protocol in current versions? There seems to be a bit of a religion around SCCP but having done a few SIP integrations now, it seems like the easier/cleaner choice. I am curious to hear TAC's stance on this one. I am aware of the supervised transfer MoH limitation with SIP. Are there others?
On a related note, are you aware of any limitations with DIGEST Authentication? I had to turn it off after testing it because peripheral features such as Message Notifications and I believe MWIs weren't working consistantly.

Hi Justin,
thanks for reply.
One more query : is it possible to have a personalised recorded message which can be activated/de-activated by user as and when required?
please let me know the steps.
regds,
aman
