ATA 186 and ATA 187 - CUCM 12.x

Hello All,

     Has anyone tested ATA 186's and ATA 187's with CUCM 12.x?  I have looked at the depreciated phone list for 11.x and 12.x and I don't see ATA 186's or ATA 187's on there.  Thanks

Hi there

Both ATA 186 & 187 are EOL/EOS. Since its not listed in the deprecated list you should make a note of this,

Unless they are specified in the "Deprecated Phone Models" list, phone models that are End of Software Maintenance will continue to be supported on the latest Unified Communications Manager releases. However, they will not take advantage of any new Unified Communications Manager or firmware features associated with that release.

For more information on End of Sale phone models, reference the model's End of Sale announcement for information on level of firmware and hardware support.

Means they are supported, but not fully tested with the the CUCMs.

ATA 186 are EoLDS. ATA 187 will be EoLDS next year 31st December. If this is for a new deployment, you should migrate to ATA 190.
