Is there a way to disable the beeps that other users will hear on the phone if you put them on hold? During conference calls with multiple people, when one of them puts their phone on hold, everyone else hears a series of beeps every 10 seconds. I wanted to see if there was a way to turn off the beeps.

Hi Abhishek,
Just one small addition to the great info from our friend Chris (+5 "C")
Check this setting as well
Service Parameters of CUCM
Suppress MOH to Conference Bridge : This parameter determines whether music on hold (MOH) plays to a conference when a conference participant places the conference on hold. Valid values specify True (the system does not play MOH to the conference when a conference participant presses the Hold button) or False (the system plays MOH to the conference when a conference participant presses the Hold button).
This is a required field.
Default: true.
Cheers!
Rob
