BRI Layer 2 Not Available

Hi,

I've configured BRI's over the years and have not really had any issues until now which is the first time configuring them on a 4431. Think I must be missing something because with Q921 debugging on, when I clear the BRI I see nothing, no negoiation?

I'm getting layer 1 Active but layer 2 Not Available,

dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = basic-net3

ACTIVE

Layer 2 NOT Activated
Layer 3 Status:

Any help appreciated.

Can you add the debug q921 output. so we can see what goes to and from the BRi towards provider

Hi,

Thats part of the problem, I don't see any output, so I can't work out where the issue is. When I clear the interface I see nothing, makes me think there is a new command I'm missing

Typo in my header, it's showing "Not Activated", not "Not Available".

Can you list the config, specifically the Bri controller and voice-port.
