Cable-detect on VG204XM

I enabled cable-detect on one port of a VG204XM and cable-detect poll-timer 1 under Voice Service Pots. The alerts for connecting and disconnecting a phone are getting logged, but I would like to know how I can configure the VG to send SNMP alerts.  It really doesn't do me much good to use the cable-detect command if I don't get an alert when a cable gets disconnected or reconnected.  Any help I can get with this would be greatly appreciated.

This TechNote only mentions syslog output.

I’d suggest configuring your Syslog server to raise an alarm when such a message is received.

You can use the MIB locator to check if their is one for this purpose -
