Call Handler with Call Queue not working

CUCM CUC IMP 11.5   I set up a Call Handler x1000 and it works fine. It has a couple caller input options and will default to HG if nothing chosen or 0 is pressed. I set up a Hunt Group w/Queue x2000 and it works fine (this also has vmail box) MOH & Announcements, works fine. When Call Handler transfers to Queue, the transfer takes 7 seconds, compared to 2 seconds if other caller inputs are selected. Also, the transfer rings a HG phone and skips the Initial announcement of the Queue. If the lines are in use, the call transfers to the Queue and plays the music on hold, again, skips the Initial announcement. If you call the HG directly, the Initial announcement plays all the time. There are posts about this and people seem to have it working. But I've not seen anything with this issue. Thanks for any ideas on what may solve this.

Hello, Well I seem to have resolved this by redesign. I started out with, Calls to the HG Queue were sent to the Initial Announcement first, then ring a HG phone. Now, I have changed this so Calls will ring the HG phones first and then if no other HG phones logged in, it goes to Initial Announcement. The Call Handler seems to like this option better and will immediately ring a HG phone and if no additional HG members logged in, it then plays the Initial Announcement immediately on transfer as it should. If no members are logged in, then the transfer goes directly to the HG voicemail.  Pretty much exactly what I need at this point.  Thanks,

Is there a difference in behaviour when the after greeting action sends the call to 2000 versus operator 0 ? Can you can test with a different caller input rather than after greeting action or operator and see if that helps or makes a difference ?
Also is this for SIP or SCCP integration ?
