Call Recording - with only CUCM & CUC version 12.5 (SU4)

Hi,

 

Can you please guide me, any options/solutions available in CUCM & CUC to enable call recording, so that users can record the calls by one press button from IP Phone and can save it and play the recording later.

 

We use on CUCM and  CUC version 12.5 in our Cluster. No - IM & Presence or UCCX or any recording server.

 

Please suggest.

Hi Jagadish, 

 

If you are after to record individual call records, there is a feature in CUC called Live recording. Configuration details can find here.

Once you configured it, the users can record the calls and unity connection send them as voice mail to the owner. This is cannot be used as a call recording solution but may help to record on demand. 

Please note that it does not work for users who have full mailboxes. Please go through the configuration detail here. 

 

if you are after a complete call recording solution, then you can consider third-party such as IMagicle, Redbox. etc.
