Calls between Cisco And Lync not display the called ID

Hi all,

 

We are integrating Cisco CUCM 10.5 with Lync, but we have a problem with the Called ID.

 

Example:

 

Cisco Phone Call to Lync, Lync receive The ANI and the calling Name, but Cisco Phone not display The called name. only Display the number dialed.

The same problem is when Lync call to Cisco. Cisco receive The ANI and the calling Name, but Lync Phone not display The called name. only Display the number dialed.

 

Please I need some idea, for solve this problem.

Calling name is to be seen by called party, not by caller itself. You would not like to see your own name while making call. Isn't it?

Caller party, must see the name of the called Number.

This information is send for the remote pbx using the remote-part ID.

If you are talking about displaying called name on the caller phone, you should have the called user created in your CUCM as enduser with "telephone number" field filled with the called number. The endusers can be synchronized from external directory server as well such as MS AD.

 

Not sure about the lync phones.

Now it makes sense. Your original questions states that calling phone doesn't display the caller name.

Anyway from Cisco perspective, if appropriate remote-party ID is present in SIP request/response, the information you want should be displayed on phone LCD.

Can you please share the SIP traces of call made from CUCM to Lync...
