changing admin password in cucm

is there anything that will be affected while changing admin password for cucm (web). ?

is there any dependencies?

Hi there

Depends, if you used the default admin account for any AXL or integrations you need to update the new passwords there as well. 

You can try the below commands in CLI

utils reset_application_ui_administrator_name

and

utils reset_application_ui_administrator_password

I agree with the first half of that statement “it depends” but the “utils reset” commands are only relevant if you have outright forgotten the application credentials. If you know and simply want to change them then you should do that from the CM Admin GUI.

Really the only good option here is due diligence: check everything that legitimately could be using AXL or otherwise has a service account, change each of them to dedicated Application Users, and then change the built in account password to see what breaks. Hopefully nothing.
