Changing CUCM IP address

I am running CUCM 7.1.3a on a 2 node system (1 publisher and 1 subscriber). I need to move the publisher and the subscriber to different IP addreses.

What is the easiest way to do this?

I think I know how to physically change the IP on the publisher and subscriber  but wont that mess up the subscriber? Will I have to tear down the subscriber and reconnect it to the publsher after the ip change?

thank you for your help in advance.

Hi,

Here are 2 links

1) All the 7.1 docs

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/docguide/7_1_3/dg713.html

2) Change ip address doc

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/7_1_2/ipchange/ipchg712.html

Yes 7.1.3 uses the same docs as 7.1.2

Thanks for your reply, However, this is for 8.0 and later. I am running 7.1.3a as stated in the question, If you could  point me to the FM for 7.1.3a i would greatly appreciate it.

Aaron, good link and I love RTFM!  +5 to you brother.

davistw here is a version of the procedure for 7.1. It is is 7.1(2) but it applies to 7.1.3 as well:

www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip.../cucm/.../7.../ipchg712.html

For future reference, I found the above via google search phrase:

"change IP address" + cucm + 7.1 site:cisco.com

Personally, I find that searching Cisco's site from google.com using the site:cisco.com option is much easier than CCO's search tool. Could be I am biased.

Thanks Bill, I guess I had never thought out useing Google to search the Cisco site specificly. Thanks for the most excellent tip!!!!!

William finally i found someone who shares what I have always thought. It is easier to find cisco related stuff on google than on CCO! I concur 100%. I wonder why..........................

Yeah - first time I saw google, it was shown to me by a guy from Cisco with the words 'this site seems to find a lot of stuff on our site'. It was just another search engine back then :-)
