downloaded   the latest firmware from cisco.com.  cmterm-69xx-SCCP-9-4-1-3SR2.

Which contains the following files

BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz.sgn

DSP69xx.12-4-123-2.160119.zz.sgn

SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.loads

SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.zz.sgn

Those files copied into Flash and executed below command:

KHJ-BLD-B-VGI(config)#telephony-service
KHJ-BLD-B-VGI(config-telephony)#load 6921 SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3
KHJ-BLD-B-VGI(config-telephony)#create cnf-files

However, Firmware still not Upgrade from CME Router after Reset the IP Phone

Configure commands based number of files to be uploaded into flash:

tftp-server flash: SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.loads alias SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.loads
tftp-server flash: SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.zz alias SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.zz
tftp-server flash: BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz alias BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz

Right. So your router needs to be able to provide the firmware files via tftp, which means they need commands to do so. Try the following:

tftp-server flash:BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz.sgn
tftp-server flash:DSP69xx.12-4-123-2.160119.zz.sgn
tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.loads
tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.zz.sgn

View solution in original post

Thanks for you Comment ,

As suggested , below command has executed in Cisco Router.

tftp-server flash:BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz.sgn
tftp-server flash:DSP69xx.12-4-123-2.160119.zz.sgn
tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.loads
tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.zz.sgn

After execution once reset the Cisco 6921 Phone , its trying to install firmware from cisco Router. however installation could not complete.

Normally the firmware updates its taken only few moment from TFTPD32 Third party Application. however once installation start over the cisco router the installation is being a long time and after phone timeout and restart automatically. later phone number pad not working (which means update not successful)

Yeah that should be fine. Should not need a interim upgrade. Can you enable "debug tftp events" and then reset one of the phones ? Copy the log in a txt file and attach here please.

Hi

Please Find Enclosed Attachment ,

As instructed, executed "debug TFTP events" command  and tried to reset one of 6921 phone. however there is no more changed occurred in Firmware.

May i know how to get TFTP Log Files from router?

You need to do a "show logg" if you are getting the logs in a buffer.

You don't make mention of the tftp-server commands. Do you have the tftp-server commands in the router making the files available? They would look like:

tftp-server flash:<filename1>

tftp-server flash:<filename2>

As suggested , below command has executed in Cisco Router.

After execution once reset the Cisco 6921 Phone , its trying to install firmware from cisco Router. however installation could not complete.

My guess is that one or more additional files need to be listed in the tftp-server commands.

Run the debug "debug tftp events" and reboot the phone. Watch what files are being requested by the phone. If you downloaded the firmware from Cisco's website it should have included everything necessary, so whatever files are needed should be in the flash already.

Right. So your router needs to be able to provide the firmware files via tftp, which means they need commands to do so. Try the following:

tftp-server flash:BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz.sgn
tftp-server flash:DSP69xx.12-4-123-2.160119.zz.sgn
tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.loads
tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR3.zz.sgn
