Hello Friends,

While trying  to upgrade Cisco 6921 phone (from old CUCM Cluster) from 9.0.2.0 to 9.4.1 version in CUCM 11.5 on remote site where latency is around 160 second.. upgrade is getting stuck..

While trying to do the same via local TFTP from router , again nothing is happing.

checked CUCM Database synchronization , Done multiple time TFTP reset, changed IP phone TFTP with different subscriber but still no luck..

The phone get stuck with 0% upgrade..

Some time then phone get register with the CUCM but no keypad is working, call is ringing but not able to pickup it..

In CUCM Load image is not showing any things under phone configuration section

Even try to upgrade the image via load file information but no luck..

the following error getting in IP Phone page..

Hi there

Which version you are try from and trying to

Upgrade Notes

Direct upgrades using signed load files are supported from firmware Release 9.x to Release 9.4(1)SR1. You can use the following firmware release file for these direct upgrades.

Note

Firmware Release 9.4(1) SR1 only applies to the Cisco Unified IP Phone 6921, 6941, and 6961 (SCCP).

  • For Cisco Unified IP Phone 6921, 6941, and 6961:

    • cmterm-69xx-SCCP-9-4-1-3SR1.cop.sgn

Hope this helps

Cheers

Rath!

i'm having 6941 model phones and all the phone facing the upgrade issue. I'm trying to upgrade from 9.0.2.0  to SCCP69xx.9-4-1-3SR1.

1) try Deleting the Certificates from Phone and upgrade again

Push Settings>Admin Settings>Reset Settings>Security> Reset.

2) Else do a factory reset for single phone and try to download new firmware.

Thanks,

Haris

Facing the same issue while upgrading from SCCP69xx.9-1-1-0.zz to SCCP69xx.9-2-1-0.
Where is deleting the certificates option? I wonder if it can be done remotely? Is it CUCM you are referring to? Thank you
