Cisco 7821 7841 Voicemail problem

After the click voicemail button on the phone; I enter the password but  I couldn't hear any voicemail

Hi Ozden,

Is the MWI light lit on the phone? Are you able to dial the voicemail pilot from these phones and get to the various menus?

yes MWI light lit on the phone,yes we are able to dial pilot number / voicemail button.after dial number,announce 'please enter password' ,when ı entered password, I dont hear sound on the phone

Can you try a test call and collect the output of the remote port status monitor?

there is no problem with other phones.

In that case this needs to be tracked further by either the Remote port status monitor tool or the cucm detailed callmanager service traces for a call involving 7841 phone with the issue and also another working SIP phone so that the two sets can be compared.

Hi,

1. Can you share the details of any ip phone model which is working fine?

2. Without traces i am not sure what exactly might be causing this but can you check the region settings between the voice ports/SIP trunk for CUC and the 7841 phones? If the region settings is set to 8 then it might be an issue as unity connection does not support G729a and only supports G729 whereas the 7841 support G729a. If its set to 8kbps then change it to 64kbps, reset and test.

6921 and 6941 model phone,there is no problem only 7821 and 7841 model has this problem
