Cisco 7841 Replace an existing phone. Asking for Primary extension/PIN

Hi,

We have a few new (probably refurbished) 7841's that when you boot them up, ask for a Primary Extension and PIN as part of migrating a phone.

We have never set up the phone migration settings. The phone is configured in CUCM.

I've tried resetting the settings, but it doesn't work.

Is there a quick fix for this?

Thanks

If you are registering the phone manually by adding MAC address, i assume that the phone gets registered.

What if you press cancel option. Let me test this on my lab tomorrow.

Learn how easy it is to modernize your Cisco IP phones, using one of three options, with the new version of Cisco Unified Communications Manager. See more about Unified Communications from Cisco at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/unified-communications/index.html

Thanks, we register them manually. I don't get an option to provision a new phone, so how do I get passed this?

Hi,

Ok, I am a complete idiot. I had a typo on the mac address. However, yes, pressing cancel does work. It wasn't working previously due to my stupidity!
