I assume you are running ccme? What version of CCME are you running?

Can you send us a

debug tftp events

Oct 13 07:27:02.240: TFTP: Sending error 1 No such file

But this load file is in my router flash and i gave "load 7971  term71.default.loads" command in the telephony service and my router itself is the tftp server.

As mentioned in many many other threads. Configure

tftp-server term71.default.loads.

As paolo suggests, do you have tftp-server flash/term71.default.loads. If you do then you need to consider what firmware is currently on th ephone and what firmware you have on your ccme.

Most times when you see this, its because the firmware you have on your CCME is too new for your phone to upgrade to, so you new an intermediate firmware.

Correct, but in that case one would see the router send the .loads file to the phone, followed by pause, and then the phone request it again.

This is not the case with the OP, where the .loads file is never sent.

Dear Paolo

thank you...problem solved..need to specify all the firmwire file path through tftp server

tftp-server flash:term71.default.loads

tftp-server flash:cnu70.8-3-2-27.sbn

tftp-server flash:jar70sccp.8-3-2-27.sbn

tftp-server flash:apps70.8-3-2-27.sbn

tftp-server flash:dsp70.8-3-2-27.sbn

tftp-server cvm70sccp.8-3-2-27.sbn

thank you all for your support.

If you configure load xxxx.loads, and cnf-location flash, then there is no need for all the tftp-server commands.

Thank you for the nice rating and good luck!

Since you are talking about factory reset, I am assuming that it's not first use of the phone. Try to remove load command from CME and test.

If the debug doesn't show anything for this particular phone it doesn't request any files from the TFTP. Please check that the phone receives the proper settings from the DHCP server.

After doing a factory reset, please clear CTL and ITL files from settings -> Security settings -> Trust list

Then enable alternate TFTP server and put the IP address of the TFTP server.  This will reload the phone and should come up with the correct configuration file.

OP phone was not booting - no menu access is possible.

+5 Roger.  Per the prerequisit steps for a factory reset check these items as Roger pointed out.  I know this is from the 7941/61 guide but the same things apply the the 7971 (with a slightly different file name).

Before you perform a factory reset, ensure that the following conditions are met:

The phone must be on a DHCP-enabled network.

A valid TFTP server must be set in DHCP option 150 or option 66 on the DHCP server.

The term61.default.loads file or the term41.default.loads and the files specified in that file should be available on the TFTP server that is specified by the DHCP packet.
