No, IPC is a windows app, you can use Jabber with iPhone. Search CCO for Jabber and you'll see a ton of good information.

Yes, but Jabber requires presence. We use. oCS for presence, and just have CM and Unity Connection. I wish they wouldn't drag presence into everything. But the mobile apps haven't been updated in over a year.

Jabber for iPhone does not require presence server.
