Cisco IP phones not receiving the caller number

I  am having an issue with all of the Cisco IP phones not presenting the caller phone number but just "unknown number".
The network infrastructure is as follows - we have two 2821 as MGCP Gateways for the CUCM, in which the phones are registered.

The 2821 routers are with 12.4(13r)T IOS version and the CUCMs are running with system version 9.1.2.10000-28.

We have some Ericson phones which are receiving calls ant there the caller phone is written down.

Can someone help with any kind of advice.

Hi Toma,

From configuration, it looks like you are using QSIG Protocol for E1 PRI integration. Are you integrating this PRI lines with Service Provider or other PBX?

Please try enabling "Redirecting Number IE Delivery - Inbound" parameter under PRI line configuration in CUCM,

If it doesn't work, can you post the logs for "debug isdn q931"  for your test call?

Thanks,

There is another Ericson system, I think, but i have no access or knowledge about it.

I've enabled the option, but I am waiting for our custommer in order to test and send you the debugs.

Kind regards,

Greetings,

no change after enabling "Redirecting Number IE Delivery - Inbound" parameter

This is a call I've made to the a phone with number 245.

Kind regards,

So is the call coming from the Ericsson or from a PSTN provider? Because it looks like from your debug above that the Calling Party Number is not being sent to you from the other end. In which case, there's nothing on the Cisco side you'll be able to do.

Hi Toma,

From the debug it looks like the Ericson or other system is not sending caller ID information. In this case, you can request administrator of other system to enable send caller ID information on the PRI lines. There is nothing more we can do on the Cisco end.

Thanks,

Is the caller ID and presentation working internally i.e. between phones or is it just external calls that have this behaviour?

Please remember to rate useful posts, by clicking on the stars below.

Just external phones calling from the outside - and only Cisco phones.
From the inside no problem.
