I just received a Cisco Cius Tablet for evaluation. Can it run on CM 8.0.1? We were able to use the Jabber for Android.

Hi,
Cius is not supported with CUCM 8.0. It will work with 7.1.5, 8.5, and later. Right now only 8.6 supports it natively.

Tere.

Scott,
I've got the CIUS workin on my CUCM 8.5 cluster without any problems. It was a pretty easy setup and just had to make sure the correct files were installed for the firmware. TAC doesn't support the CIUS for CUCM unless you have it on the firmware that is available on CCO. Go here for the firmware:
The active load can be found by going to Settings->About Cius->Active Load. If 'dev' appears anywhere in the filename then it's a used device from the Beta or EFT and is not supported by TAC.
