I have a customer who wants to be able to forward a set of extensions to the various owners' cell phone. The trick is that most of the cell phones are long distance and outbound long distance calls require an "expense code". The prompt for the expense code is handled by the LD provider so we need to be able to put pauses in the outbound dialing. Outbound long distance calls go out over a voice T1 (E&M wink start).
I've been reading the new features in CUCM 9.0 and have noticed that pauses are now supported in Speed Dials. Are they also supported in other places such as forward strings?
Thanks!
David

My understating is that this is only for speed dials, though might be worth testing.

Chris,
You are correct - I finally put up a test CUCM to find out and I see no way to add pauses anywhere but speed dials.
Thanks!

You can use my script "speed-dial with pauses" that can be acquired on the website mentioned in my profile.
Despite the name, it works with any number dialed by the CM.
