We are planning for the "Cisco Click to Call" ...is it necessary that for this we must require Cisco Hardphone......
Actually most of the users in our office are using Cisco IP Communicator....hope this we can use the "Cisco Click to Call" with the Softphone also.

Hi Vijay,
Pls note that the actual click to call feature is EOS long back and hence you have to use Jabber as it is the alternative Cisco suggests.

Consider migration to Cisco Jabber. Or you can use the 3rd party apps like http://aurus5.com/phoneup/directory/ - this one supports click2call with DTMF

Cisco Click to Call is obsolete.
This feature is available in Jabber 11.x
1) If you can use the shortcut
Click-to-Call Keyboard Shortcut—Configure the MakeCallHotKey parameter to make a Cisco Jabber call using an administrator-defined global keyboard shortcut that is active from any application on your desktop. The default shortcut is CTRL+SHIFT+J and is enabled by default. For more information on configuring this parameter, see the Cisco Jabber 11.0 Parameters Reference Guide
2) If you need the PHone Number in WebSite to be clickable, Need to use some Plugin to make that happen like Telify,Tenfold etc.
