Hi everyone,
I have a cisco 3825 running 15.1(3) with CME 8.6. I have a sip trunk registered to a voip.ms SIP account and 2 voip.ms DID's that I intend to use for inbound calling to the system. A few things to note right off the bat:
Please see the relevant parts of my config for details:

I ran a debug voip dialpeer and here is the result during an inbound call. What I don't understand is why CME is attemping to match an inbound call to an outgoing dial peer. See below:
Aug 13 17:38:11.592: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/DPM/dpMatchPeersCore:
Calling Number=7736735515, Called Number=7736735515, Peer Info Type=DIALPEER_INFO_SPEECH
Aug 13 17:38:11.592: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/DPM/dpMatchPeersCore:
Match Rule=DP_MATCH_DEST; Called Number=7736735515
Aug 13 17:38:11.592: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/DPM/dpMatchPeersCore:
Aug 13 17:38:11.592: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/DPM/dpMatchSafModulePlugin:
dialstring=7736735515, saf_enabled=1, saf_dndb_lookup=1, dp_result=-1
Aug 13 17:38:11.592: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/DPM/dpMatchPeersMoreArg:
Result=NO_MATCH(-1)
Oddly enough, if I add two dial-peers like below (since it seems its looking for an outbound dial peer) the configuration works, but this is messy and a workaround.
dial-peer voice 20 voip
destination-pattern 2222225555
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.1.20.2
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
no vad
!
dial-peer voice 21 voip
destination-pattern 2222224444
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:10.1.20.2
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
no vad
!
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks!

d bug ccsip message is enough. Then I think dialpeer has some more options.

Hi,
Can you please send the following:
1. sh run
2. debug voip ccapi inout
3.debug ccsip messages
Please rate all useful posts

aokanlawon,
When I ran debug voip ccapi inout there was no output when I placed an inbound call.
Below is what I got after running debug ccsip messages:

A call needs two legs..
In this case one leg is from SIP provider to CME, and the other leg is from CME to IP phone.
How is the ephone-dn number for 7736735515?
The second leg dial-peer is created by the ephone.
I think is a rule problem.
The dial-peer 21 voip create the same fuction with this dial-peer
dial-peer voice 1 voip
translation-profile incoming INCOMING
session protocol sipv2
incoming called-number .
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
no vad
This dial-peer (1) must take the number 7736735515 trasnform with the rule (INCOMING) to get the number 1000 and then match with the ephone.
hope you get a breif config to complete all calls.
regards
Alex
