CME royalty free Music on hold royalty free

                   We have a customer in France using the standard music on hold file that comes with CME called music-on-hold.au. It is definately royalty free bt the French copyright authorities are asking for proof (i.e. an official document from Cisco). Anyone seen anything like this?

I had to provide this in the past for Belgium too - I can send you the PDF that has the declaration of both authors of the "song" (Tim Carleton & Darrick A. Deel) which is the doc they require to wave the yearly fee.

In most countries copy right watchdogs act like c0wb0ys . I am convinced that lawfully  you will need to prove someone guilty first, not the other way around, even in France.
