Hey Guys,
Please help me here, I can register single registrar and Multiple sip trunks. But the call doesnt go out without this command '
calling-info pstn-to-sip'.
I need to send different caller id which is under the two different trunks. I have tried translating but it doesnt do the job, it still tries to send the calling-info pstn-to-sip number.
08-16-2012 08:18 AM
Then remove pstn-to-sip, and use translation only.

One needs to look at traces to see what happens and why.

Hello Mohamed.
I have the same problem with a UC520 (two sip trunk with the same service provider and show two different caller id).
You know if this configuration has to work with a UC520?
I've tried and not register any.
Thanks

Hey Eduard
It shouldnt make any difference it should work.
For your outgoing dial-peers is the translation rule setup with an outgoing number or if you want to use a single number to call out under sip-ua type the following
calling-info pstn-to-sip from number set
or for translation rule scenario without the above
e.g. ext 2003 is calling out
you can make a rule similar to this
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /2003/ /
rule 2 /2002/ /
voice translation-profile Outgoing
translate calling 1
Apply the translation profile to the outgoing dial-peer. The translation rule was just an example.
The SIP provider expects a number registered with them to be seen. As long as they see anumber the call would go through. If not they will reject.
I hope I have answered your question and hope it has helped you. Sorry for the delay in answering since I didnt notice that you had replied.
Regards,
Shibly

Hi Mohamed.
The problem is solved.
The operator told me (first time) that I could not show two phone numbers for the same SIP trunk, but after he said that if it was possible.
The solution was to do it through "voice-translation rules" as you tell me.
Thank you very much.

Hey Eduard,
Glad it worked. When I was trying to get it to work I faced the same issues you were facing but it was part of the learning phase.

Hi all and sorry Mohamed.
I put one star by mistake.
I thought it could make the stars one by one, and when I check one I could not rectify.
Sorry.
