Between two extension, transferring the call, the user can do a consult transfer. However if the user is on a call, and a second call comes in, while the second call is still ringing on the extension, if they try to transfer the first call, it ends up being a blind transfer.
Extension involved
402300
402304
402355
Scenario A - external call into a hunt-group
External1 call to 402300
External2 call to 402300
External1 call transferred from 402300 to 402355 (they cannot consult, the call just goes through)
Scenario B - Internal call
402355 call to 402300
402304 call to 402300
402355 transferred to 403303 (they cannot consult, the call just goes through)
transfer-system full-consult is already configured under telephone-services. I've tried to specify transfer-mode under 402300, still no joy.
I have attached the configuration and also the telephony output

Hi there,
I believe you would need to use Octo-line ephone DN's instead
of dual-line
Cheers!

As an alternanative to what Rob correctly said, you can transfer 2nd call to a park slot, then advice recipient to pick it up.
If he/she declines, pick it up and advice caller.

Hi,
I'm looking into the same issue with nishantj, We've configured octo-line on the phone but no luck so far.
Having spoken to a colleague I removed the DN from the pickup group and this seem's to have sorted it....the only problem is they need the pickup feature , any idea why being part of a pickup group would cause this?
Thanks,
