Corporate Directory disappears

Hello Guys,

I have a strange behavior in a CUCM 8.6 environnement. Times to times, on random phones the corporate directory is no more listed. I have to reboot the phone and all is ok.

I go round in cycles since weeks and I didn't find any clues about a potential issue. Is someone have some ideas to help me on this ?

Issues like this are most likely firmware related. What model of phones are affected and what is the firmware running on them

phone 7940 - 7941 - 7942 have the problem

CUCM 8.6.2.22900-9

firmware used:

7940 last one available

7941: 9.3.1SR2.1S

7942: 9.3.1SR2.1S

I have a few questions:

When you select the coporate directory button what happens?

can you pull up wireshark captures of a failed event?

Are you using ext coporate directory ?

When we go in the Directories menu, the corporate directory is not listed anymore.

I already though about wireshark but the problem is very random, and not easy to predict.

what do you mean by "ext corporate directory" ?

I suggest you open a TAC case. I have looked through the bug search tool and I cant find any ug that matches this problem description, however I am convinced it is a bug. Talk to cisco and let us know what you find
