Titles says it all really but in summary the CME feature is:
The Night-Bell allows external phone calls to be heard over a Public Address system (P.A).
This is used when a building has closed for trade so the Night staff know when someone is calling in.
We doe this via a couple of Hunt Group Handsets which are preconfigured with a Soft Key “NightBell”.
Press the Soft Key once and the following message indicates the NightBell is enabled, “Night Service Active”.
Received calls ring over the PA.
To disable the NightBell, press the Soft Key “NightBell” again. The following message indicates the NightBell feature is disabled “Night Service Disabled”.
I know there is TOD in CUCM 11 but we really want a off / on button so it can be controlled locally.
Anyone tried this before / or has suggestions?
thanks in advance

Hi,
There is no such exact option on cucm, you have the call forward all option though which does tell you on the display if the calls are forwarded to a specific destination.

Just adding to Manish's point.
You may create a specific DN based on a Time of Day based Partition, or even you can create System Call Handler and then use the Scheduler to enable Closed Greeting and route the call to the PA option (in a Line Group) hence creating the desired results

Make the users in this hunt group log out of the huntgroup when they leave for home and have that huntgroups overflow go to the night bell.
