CUCM 12.5 Decrypt Security Password

Hello, 

Im working with the cucm 12.5 and need to decrypt security password,  I worked with this link for version 11.x and It works with no issue, but in the 12.5 we are not getting the file platformConfig we are only getting the file processnode.

Tested UCOS Versions: 6.1, 9.1, 10.0, 10.5, 11.0, 11.5, 12.0.

Just thought I asked the question again.  What about version 12.5?

For UCOS Password Decryptor to display the security password, it requires the platformconfig file, which is not generated on 12.5 by the command “utils create report platform.” This functionality works effectively only up to version 12.0.

If you forget the password, you can reset the security password, as mentioned by @Maren Mahoney . Here is the link on How to reset the security password

You cannot decrypt it. Period. But you can reset it (and/or the OS password) using the Password Recovery Procedure:
